That's a good question, but considering it's not an official release for Crysis Wars, I'm not sure if they would even consider something like that, since it would utilize their bandwidth for downlooads without any return.  The patch installs are rather straight forward just the same.  Honestly I have no clue.  Are there any other Mods you could get through steam?

I have Crysis Wars from Steam, and had a bit of an issue when I first tried to play (I had the infamous key authentication error).  The patch installs were easy though; not sure it would even be worth it to go down  that road.

Only mods I know you can get through Steam are mods for their HL2 games - and even then, they are oldie-mods (aka mods that were in their prime two years ago). After they introduced those mods on there, they kind of abandoned the modding idea, for the moment.

I wouldn't be suprised though if sometime in the future they did a big modding push, as perhaps a way to draw in more customers or compete against Desura. Currently, there isn't a need for that on Steam's part. But eventually I feel there will be.

Killing Floor and Red Orchestra have mods available on STEAM.

I'll definitely look into it.
