Still thinking about foot weathering on this one, If its deployed on an ice planet which the cammo suggests, it might not get much mud, plus it looks so pretty i havent yet got the artists pastels out yet.
I grind these up and use them dry and damp to dirt the models up.
But thus far ive been loath to do it to this one



You can see the difference between the missile ports in this pic, the grey stripe scheme, has had its ports sooted with black pastel, where as the CGB varient is not done yet

The next one is CSJ, im leaning towards the alpha galaxy scheme

Click on the alpha galaxy icon, but i'm open to suggestions from CSJ members, if you think another galaxys scheme is better let me know, and i'll consider the suggestions. but the alpha galaxy looks easy enough to do, and will give a decent result i think

Bill, any consensus on CJW colours yet ? im thinking jade green and orange would work. Provided i use matt paint and lots of weathering it shouldnt be too bright and garish. But its up to your clan, i have to buy the paints for this scheme so there is no rush

This will get a lime/jade green sponge effect on top like the CGB varient paint job


but for now its jeep green (or for Dr Who fans Ironside Dalek scheme)







It aint done till its done, but i envisage a scheme like the border in this sig



Add a CJW insignia and it will look great

And its loadout is one i love

Needs dirtying up a little bit and the addition of some CJW clan phrase favourites, then it will be ready to rape and pillage the innersphere!

Also maybe some accents in some more CJF green and we'll be cooking with ultra heated turbo mega mega fun time excellent gas.

Ive toyed with that idea as well, i used toothpicks easily enough on my madcat models.
Having said that, ive always wondered about the wisdom of having your warheads exposed, as per the canon images.
Strikes me return fire could set off a chain reaction, where recessed rounds would be protected.
It would be easy enough though to build an array in such a way as you could have it both ways

I have to say i'm impressed at the colour match in both, but the CJW decal looks almost like it has a transparent bar in the middle of the decal the match is so close, both greens match the model perfectly.
