Sweet! Maybe some week I will actually be able to get my Xfire client working with MWLL. Has anyone made an Xfire skin for MWLL?

 :o

EDIT: OMG I just tried my Xfire client program and it downloaded an update and now when I start MWLL with the MWLL launcher the Xfire client detects I am running the MWLL Mod. So this is a good thing but why would I want to be running Xfire while I am running MWLL? Please list the reasons why I would want to do this.

I don't use Xfire myself, but isn't one key feature of Xfire with a supported game, that others in your friends list on Xfire see what you are playing and can easily join the same game?

It's also for chatting with other people you play games with.  It's a game-centric instant messenger.

Also; screenshots, video, live streaming...

EDIT: Also, the overlay web-browser is quite handy, for games that don't use the Steam overlay.

I've streamed myself playing MWLL on livestream before.  It got mixed reactions.  Some liked it enough to buy crysis and try it themselves, although i don't think any of them still play, but others not so much because they couldn't get over the fact that MWLL =/= CBT, partly because I was driving around in an Oro murdering everything from lights to heavies (this was back in early 0.4 when tanks had ridiculous armor).

I suppose there's no such thing as bad publicity though.  I've been thinking about buying a bunch of copies of Warhead next time it goes on sale for dirt cheap on steam and gifting them to random people i know.

I always used to use xfire.

Then steam friends came along, and ive never been back since.

Is a pity, because i have over like 5000 hours of history on that thing.

New idea- would I be able to use an external hard drive to add RAM and/or improve gigahertz?

Hope you managed to get your steam issue sorted. If not, a post in the right place over here could probably get you some help.

/Merf - Yay more players!

TH epity is that having all your gaming 'history' in one place makes for easier self deprecation.

Good to see MW:LL getting the attention it deserves!

I'm another of the Used-To-Use-Xfire club, I had a few hundred hours on CoD1 and a few other things back in the day, but I haven't used Xfire in yeaaaaars...
