Yep they sure have.

I have been here for a year and a half now.  Aside from a recent slow down I have been playing 5 nights a week for a few hours each evening for the better part of that 1.5 years.  I still love to wander the battlefield admits a flury of battlemech fury and sometime find myself just standing in amazement for a few seconds. The sights, the sounds, the quality.  Hearing the thumps of the mech footfalls as the crush the soil beside you, missiles streaking past and exploding in to ferro-fibrous armor, I use good headphones and I must say the sound quality to this mod is astounding.  Still.

Just wait until we get these new toys... The battlefield will be littered with mechs. I foresee 120+ players a night for a month or two again and a slow taper depending on what 5.2 has.

You know I gotta admit I had a wow moment the other night when suddenly tons of vets flooded a TC_Mirage game and we were breaking the server there was so much action.
I just looked out on D4 and saw what seemed like 1 of almost every unit in the game, the roar of the battle was intense. IS ended up coming back to win by two men alive after bringing a 100 point deficit to 0/0 tickets in the last couple seconds of the ticket timer. 

I thought to myself, damn you don't see this much non-scripted action in AAA games....

^ hah i think I was in that game.  Yeah that was F'ing crazy. It started out a little stompy but all of a sudden it flipped then was a freaking tight game all the way down to the wire where the "clan" side got IS down to 0 tickets starting the 2 min count down.  We only had 8 tickets left and the IS went into fury mode to make it basically a draw with 0 tickets on both sides at the end.
