I'm curious about the average age of the community here. The reason I ask is because Battletech has been around for a very long time. Mechwarrior as a video game franchise is also fairly old, but you could have played MW4 as your first title and be pretty young. I grew up on reading the Battletech novels and the early games like Crescent Hawks Inception and the original MW.
The reason also concerns gameplay experience. I don't like playing online on my XBOX360 much because the average age of the players tends to skew to teenagers. They like to be as profane as possible, mostly for no specific reason, except to make themselves feel like adults because they can use bad language, HAHA. The other part is that in team based games (like Battlefield or MWLL) the young people tend to play the lone wolf hero and generally ignore any aspects of the gameplay where playing with your teammates cooperatively will actually be more enjoyable and make their team more likely to WIN. In MWLL, pub games obviously since Im new, if I'm a team with active communication, we pretty much always win. So it makes me think that the average MWLL player is a little older. True?
