I definitely encountered the messed up weapon grouping, too. But it stopped for me recently, I didn't exactly look out for it, but I would say I didn't see it since 0.5.3
I didn't try Fafnir A up to now, so I can't say.


P.S. I just tested a Fafnir A on two different League - Servers, I did not have a map change but encountered no problems with the weapon grouping.

But I recently had a "stuck" weapon grouping, it was like Return wasn't working anymore, so I could move with the arrows but not set it. Only once, though.

If the problems continue to exist, I stick to my theory that other 'Mechs destroy your weapon configurations (passively). The Fafnir would be quite a candidate for trouble since it is new and hence used pretty often. But the same goes for the Blood Asp.
Read out weapons/vehicle stats (by Hiruma Kai)
Drop Calculator (by Snyp3r)
Edit your weapon-groups outside of MWLL (by me and Az)
Create random drop-lists (by me and, involuntarily, Az)
