I could not agree more, so long as it is on PC.  I could care less about iOS.

The Battlezone port to the N64 was almost as good as the PC version.

I heard good things about the Halo console RTS from the three people I know who own it, as well...never played it myself, though.

From what I remember from the demo it seemed interesting. But MOST PC/Console RTS's tend to focus on the PC and then port it to the console, which is good as most everything else seem to do it the other way.

Here is hoping

There were a couple that were semi successful, remember one that used voice commands.  Also, now that there's more motion controllers (on all consoles) that can simulate the point an click nature of the mouse, RTS might feel more natural.

I own it, bought it for $5 on Amazon when they had a special free shipping promo or something....or it was like an extra $3.....don't remember....

For $5-$8 it's a pretty fun game actually....just a down and dirty quick RTS....and considering the lack luster choices that are out there for RTS's it's ok...and for console, meh...like I said, pretty fun....me and my friends on xbox enjoyed it....

....alot like the Dune RTS for PS1, if that means anything to anyone

Now you know 4....6 if you count the people I played with....6 degrees and all that

Surprised no one posted this. Seems we may have two things being developed... Mechwarrior for PC and possible a Mechcommander for iOS. Which is awesome, but I do not own an iphone/ipad so I would hope it would be for PC as well!

I don't know if I like the sound of "persistent character development model". But co-op definitely interests me.

it's multiplayer unlocks, just like most modern shoot that have level based perks and specializations.
