What's your favorite weapon? Favorite mech variants?

Hi. I'm interested what is everyone's favorite weapon type and favorite mech variants.

My favorite weapons are AutoCannons and Ultra AutoCannons. I like weapons that make a big bang, so naturally I like (U)AC20 the most. They also don't spread the damage like LBX weapons.

My usual Clan starting mech is Uller B, because I like its CUAC10.
With Inner Sphere I'm usually driving a Demolisher Prime with 2 AC20s. If enemy uses much missiles and aircraft I'll instead support with Bushwacker E with 1 AC20, 2 MGs (anti-air), LAMS (anti-missile), and GECM.

but alas i am a sucker for it

AC10's because they can do it all, and actually rock the sox.

and fav mech is bushwaker, it can do anything.

My favorite weapons are X-Pulse Lasers and RAC5s, too bad there are no units that have them both.

Visually: LRMs, they look awesome! Especially when fired behind you and they arc above your head, down to some fool further down the line.

Sound: AC of any kind. Especially dual UAC10.

But Lasers are just pinpoint accurate, that's why I take CERML or CERLL most of the time. Great range, good damage.

It's almost an addiction so I have to admit to my love of the MkII  alt.E "Siege Engine", more dakka-dakka than a Huit Prime at 65kph  8)

I do love rolling up lines in a Mauler(ELRM &ERPPC, UAC or LBX), and Mr Bubbles has the most dakka-dakka on the field (pity the range is short rather than medium as it should be), but the Siege Engine is the most versatile with the GECM to get into medium range and the speed to get into cover like a Heavyl....best Assault available right now IMHO.

I've yet to find a map or situation where the Siege Engine was not a good choice (well maybe SA, which I rarely play as I prefer team games).

Heavy Gauss... really makes your presence felt :)

Also Light Gauss... feels quite satisfying to shoot, and has a really cool sound to boot.

As long as it doesn't have LRMs, AC/LBX10s,RAC2s, is an aero that doesn't bomb/Tbolt, or an Uziel/Cougar I can find a use for it

Anything with Jump Jets and paired Clan ERLL is an automatic favorite. I like the Jump Jets to dodge the Fbomb/Tbolt trolls and to get behind cover in a hurry. I like the  CER LL since they deal a lot of damage with pinpoint accuracy and seem to be mostly immune to server spasms.

Clan ERPPCs would be another favorite, but the hit detection on these keep them from the top.
