MWLL Graphics Settings Poll

This poll grew out of the BA Guide thread, from a discussion on how graphics settings affects how easy an underwater APC is to spot. I got curious as to what everyone's settings looked like and it might help the devs to see this sort of information, so here's a poll.

custom high- very high iirc i still have Freeborn Toads' extreme settings. Though for some maps i tend to put my AA from x2 to 0... like frostbite

I play on very high, with no AA on a lower resolution (windowed, at 1400x900).

I'd define custom settings as anything other than using the pre-defined 'Low/Medium/High/Very-High' drop-down box in the 'Advanced Settings' page; which is what the first four options in the poll refer to.

I DONT KNOW D:

I try so many different settings to squeeze good fps out of my rig and it seems to run good sometimes and then run like shit others... I get better FPS at CCC 3 than 2 then I try 4 and its good for awhile now its shit again and I'm thinking about going back to 3 again.  :'(

Custom. Disabled SSAO, some postprocessing and may be some other effects by changing config files. All other things to very high.

Very high textures, high most everything else, low shaders and particles, due to the way they kill my FPS alot....

usually runs in the high 60's, with slowdown occuring under AA fire (but nowhere near what it used to be with high particles).

my only complaint is that with shaders down, shadows look a bit funny and things a dimmer (not really a complaint)

I run CCC on level 3 when I'm recording in the background, and level 4 when not. Tried level 4+ for a while, but my fps drops to far in heated firefights, so I have to deal with level 4.

Resolution is 1650x1080.

FPS is a steady 50-60.
Never arm once what you could arm twice.

I play with mixed settings on both my systems.

Things I have maxed are Textures, Objects, Particles, Effects and Shaders.
Things I have on low are Shadows, Physics, Water, Postprocessing, and Sound.
No AA.

This way I get everything looking gorgeous without the crap that I don't see/notice very often extremely low.

Two systems are:

Desktop
Phenom2 x4 BE (4-core) @ 3.4ghz
1GB GTX285 (1920x1080 @ 24in)
8GB DDR2 800
10k RPM Velociraptor HDD
Onboard Sound

Laptop
Mobile i7 x4 (8-core) @ 2.6ghz
Mobile 1GB 5870 (1680x1050 @ 18in)
6GB DDR3 1333
7200RPM HDD
Onboard Sound

This is very true, but based on my system, performance, and overall graphics-whore preferences, I find I don't see water enough to justify the toll it takes on my framerate, which struggles to chug by as-is.
