Oh the miata

such a small, underwhelming BADASS OF A CAR

And quite underrated, at that.  Did you know that the stock Miata powerplants of 1.6 and 1.8 litres (first gen) can handle 1.7 bar of boost as daily drivers, with no internal engine modifications?  I can say from personal experience that they can, and that they are scary as hell when they do, lol. :)

Please, The only real Miata is the one with a bored out 1.6L 4-banger

In case nobody watches Initial D here, my Eunos Roadster(as it is called in Japan) is a nod to one of the adversaries of the protagonist of that anime.

You would not have to bore a Miata's powerplant to achieve 1.6 litres displacement; they were already 1.6 from the factory, with the 1.8 and 2.0 following later on.

Also...the only time you would ever see that block bored, it would be in increments of 0.001 inch, and it would only be done to smooth the cylinder walls during a complete rebuild; the cylinder walls on that block are way too thin for the kind of boring you would need for a displacement increase.  Stroking, however, is another story, and is sometimes done by those wanting a naturally aspirated build.

What i mean is that it's a 1.8L, but a 1.6L that is bored out.

My wording may have confused you :(

stock - 1597cc
+1mm - 1639cc
+2mm - 1680cc
+3mm - 1723cc

The 1.6's are bored often so I am not sure where you are getting your info on the thin walls, but it would be easier to get a 1.8 or 2.0 than to bore the B6 block up. and the B series engine blocks went from a 1.1 up to a 2.0.

I am a Motocraft fan, rice-burners are not my cup of tea, so, like Aethon said, cheaper to buy the crate 2.0 than to bore, buy and hang new pistons on a 1.6, not to mention the cost of magnaflux etc etc

The reason I said that is, in most cases I have seen, the people boring them out ended up with piston slap due to the walls buckling.  Not very bright to even chance it, when you could just swap to a 1.8 for cheap.

So, yeah...you can bore anything, really; there simply is no point to it in some cases, though, and in many cases, it is accompanied by considerable risks/reduced durability.

No details are available on the second game. Popular speculation is that it's an open-world spinoff of Forza, due to the open roads of the trailer and the fact that it is not being developed by Turn 10.
