the high res texture pack just makes certain textures less blurry, but its not really all that noticeable since there's still a lot of blurry, muddy looking textures to be found.  However muddy these textures may be its still a decent looking game and still fun even though I've put 90 hours into it so far.
Play my free open source web game MiniMek - Urbie Defense!  Its "mega fun" but with mini meks!

Has anyone else tried the Jaysus Swords pack?  The details on them are mind-blowing.  Here is a link with some pics: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1002

Also, I have to agree, Capper; the HD pack is not a mind-blowing difference.  It does, however, feel like another notch was added to the high end of the texture slider bar...for me, anyway.  Not a massive difference, but it feels like they just kicked the quality up by ~20%.

At least they included the macho dragons, they should have been the focus.

fakk you skyrim devs

http://www.gamespot.com/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/videos/possible-skyrim-dlc-or-mods-from-dice-2012-keynote-address-6350046/

i wanted all this shit to begin with!

If you'd have done your research, this was a showcase for the Creation Kit and had nothing to do with actually releasing those things public. They were surprised by the amount of people wanting this content, so they're now considering releasing it as free dlc (or so ive heard).

New idea- would I be able to use an external hard drive to add RAM and/or improve gigahertz?

Why were they surprised that people would want it?!?

The best thing community is going to come up with in the short term will be a million house mods, skimpier female armour, nude mods and giant fappoff anime swords (Saber is spot on with his comic).
At least the mods showcased there seem to add cool stuff (spears, flow based water shader etc...) that look quite polished.

That'd be awesome!
btw, where did you get that info?

I gotta agree tho, they should've expected, that people want that stuff.
but aside of that, I recently found this one:

I'm so gonna play a swordsman now... :P

Damn! That does look nice... might have to stop playing X3:AP & MWLL and see if Skyrim will run properly now without all the CTDs I was getting after v1.3  :o
