So, I don't get the whole hull thing.   What's the best way to kill a tank these days?
i say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit.
That would violate the Ares conventions.

Also, I thought someone here said that the hull received damage based on a modifier of 0.9 for the front armor and turret.  To me, that implied that each section could have its own unique modifier, and I assumed attacking the hull via the rear armor was more effective than attacking the hull via the turret.

Is that assumption wrong?

I get into this game, just to find out that the Harasser\Heffy's armour has been dropped, whereas all of the others have been increased... Yay!

Turret has a bad modifier.
Rear has a good one.
Sides a decent one.
Front a normal one.

Something like that I believe.
Not having exact numbers on hand.

So someone having gained x-amount of hull armour is in fact _more_ then x if you shoot at turret but considerably _less_ if you shoot through the rear. This means that if an asset has its armour reduced and moved to the hull it is in effect a armour nerf in most cases (except I believe the turret, maybe also damage from front).

I think this is the case, at least for taking forever to kill AAA's partyvan through the turret (read: he killed me first even though I had the 2 HML and 16SSRM cougar and never missed and he was in the all ACs variant {I was also using a rock as cover between laser recharges to negate his damage over time})

The problem before was with people just pounding the turret or front of the tank because they were the easiest spots to hit. Those should be the least / most suicidal spots to shoot.
