Minimechwarrior is super difficult, due to collision issues, if you resize existing models in extreme scales....
Oh, I didn't know. I hate CryEngine 2.

Yeah and it is actualy being a lot like the Sims 1... where you have grand ideas, but limited furniture to place down XD

Looks a bit like ASF will be immune to anything but LBX20.
Got any playtest impressions what AA duty is like on that map?
Otherwise it looks really sweet, great colours!

Current version ist NOT tested, yet, because our server is not running.... relocating it....

In the last version AA_Tanks had a hard time to get anywhere because of the noisy ground.

Now, with smoothed roads, it should be easier to get AA in position.

Well, I helped test the earlier versions, and I don't think it will be too bad with ASF.  The good news is that there are no VTOLs, just planes, so they will have to work to get their kills.  It is a fun map to fly around on, and maybe with the road changes tanks will be good, but I recommend a 'Mech, as I am sure there are places that you wouldn't want to take a tank.  Also, it is a more difficult map than some of the more open ones, think of it as a true wilderness area.
BA will have a field day too.

Good work Duff, but I like all your maps. :)

I suck!! But WE are AWESOME.  We started a unit.  What's that?!  YOU WANNA TOUCH MY UNIT?!! :P ^^12thVR Recruitment Page(clickthepic) ;)

If I ever became a MWLL-developer, I would include some hidden client-side command in the game that makes the current server crash. Then I would travel over all the stupid servers that ignore the amount of more than 60 currently available maps and continue to use the same four or five maps day in and day out. (Take that as a suggestion, you dear and beloved developers.)
Stupid sheep.

This looks great. I love the concept of having just 3 large cap points with no bases or asset buying buildings. The TC gamemode is flexible enough to allow all sorts of weird and wonderful possibilies but that hardly ever gets taken advantage of.

Really hope we can get some large games on this. We need more maps that explore the full potential of TC.  :)

I was thinking about making some that cover almost the entire map (with a small one right outside main bases that is REALLY HEAVILY weighed) I'm guessing 5-6 in all (so 3-4 regular ones + the "win" ones)

Chances it will be a longer map, but with multiple large "pathways" so it's not a giant hallway (*cough*mirage*cough*)
I'll start working on it as soon as I don't got so much important school shit to do, so later in the next week or two I hope

Sorry to leave the rails, but I have to put this somewhere:

Will you be able to fix your server soon? I remember Ghost Bears Legacy-server to be one of the few, if not the only one, using mostly community-maps, giving players a chance to try out new maps. I really miss your server, often tried to "seed" it, wasting my time investigating new maps. Also, I miss TC_Slurm. It was a really enjoyable map, but it is not hosted anywhere anymore.

With the mainly used servers being as static and unwilling to take a risk as they are, all these maps are destined to vanish into oblivion. The game has become so stale for me and many others, the worst thing to happen now really is that we are only able to play a handful of maps over and over. The same ones I played when I first got this mod, mostly.

I opened a thread in the Dedicated Server sectian and posted the error I get...

If we can figuere out how to solve the actuall problem .. we have our Server back soon..

THe main problem is: I have no high speed upload, to it takes forever to upload MWLL via ftp

but I am afraid that the files are not causing the problem, it is may be because you have to install that vcredist_x86_2005_KB2538242.exe stuff, and I can not do that via ftp -.-

Maybe you can extract it and do the update manually?

Just played Bedrock for the first time.
I am aware that this was intended as an asf training map. But if you want to play it in public, the ground units should feel some love too.
I found it extremely difficult to navigate the terrain. This was because of two major reasons:
1: No paved roads, which mark the correct way. Or any other indication that this way will lead me to my destiantion.
2: ASF circling above me, making it even more difficult to focus on the ground, which is very challanging by itself.

Flying is fine though, I like the low ceiling. This way you need to stay pretty low. And AA is useless.

1: I tried. I spend hours and hours on smoothing the terrain in major parts, adding roads for tanks (that took a lot of time in some regions->hills), cleaned the roads from vegetation for better visibility. Paved roads would not look pleasing.
There are three main routes.
2: That is why I removed Vtols.

PS: Once you know the map, navigating is quite easy you have a lot of landmarks. But I will may ad some stones or so to make it easier for pubers to tell were you are.
