Maybe add the -crashonexit switch to your shortcut?

If you want, I can give you a simple script that restarts the server when it goes down, too..

Thanks RB will give that a go.
Rcon has a restart feature, if it gets too bad i will try and enable it

so i change the "start in "line


"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Mods\mwll"

to

"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Mods\mwll" -crashonexit

Is there a space between the " and the - ?

In regard to the restart function do i point the autorestart at crysiswarsdedicatedserver.exe or crysiswarsdedicatedserver.exe.patch1

That path looks like your -root argument, it's not an actual executable. Just add the -crashonexit to the very end of the shortcut.

For the restarter, you'd need to point it at the same shortcut you use to launch the game normally, and tweak the registry to ensure that the server doesn't freeze at a 'crysis.exe has crashed, send bug report?' screen.

You are right, the exe is on the "target" line, so thats where i add it im guessing is there a space between

ie is it
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Mods\mwll\MWLL.Launcher.exe"-crashonexit

or

"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis Wars\Mods\mwll\MWLL.Launcher.exe" -crashonexit

I tried the restart on crash feature of Rcon, lol
Went to the toilet (you only ever rent a beer.........)
And came back to find 30 servers running, started 31st ,32nd and 33rd as i watched.......

So ive turned that off

Edit: the logs suggest no one was playing at the time
