All other servers are useless for EU/RU (like Huntress) or unpopulated.

I tend to disagree. I live in germany (which is well within the EU :P), got a pretty crappy internet connection, but I can play on Huntress (and other US servers) just fine.
As long as my roommate doesn't start downloading P0rn <.<

Huntress should be okay to connect to from Europe. In England I get a ping of about 110. I imagine from Italy or Germany you should see about 140-160. Eastern Europe, maybe 200s.

265 only really puts it out of the reach of Australasia.

I can play on Huntress too from Finland. The server browser showed about 130 ping. Usually to US pings are like 170 (MWLL #1 Official server has this).

But even on that Huntress server when the map changes to TSA_Sandblasted again I quit and wait until the map changes.

TSA CAN be awesome, with the right people, even in pub. I recommend the Server 'RUS' I usually have reather enjoyable TSA matches there (check out the link in my Signature)
The good thing about that server is that the RUS server owners teamplay. The bad thing is that usually they're all on the same side making the teams unbalanced. I haven't seen anyone there yet in 0.52. The money transfer limit may increase team balance.

And, yep, Xi is a hacked server and does not check for CD keys.
Good to know...*Removes XI from favorites list* Now I'll play on Huntress if I can't find a good TC server.

How old are you?

There are sometimes bad games, but more often than not, tsa is just fine and dandy, that is if your not a camper at heart. There are always flanks to be probed if your team is down, and if its not, one can always make intelligent forays through the other teams lines.
Its no insult, but mw4 WAS tsa, and it was almost never boring. THere are lots of good pilots who play the mod and play it well and its always gratifying.
i never understood this objective thing.
The objective is to win.

You catch on quick Action. TC really needs to be revamped with balance tweaks and map optimizations so we can stop playing a glorified mech sandbox.

I saw today that 7.WD have several servers with each server dedicated to different gametypes.
TC/TSA/SA/Mixed.
Suggest looking at them for what you want to play. ;)

Unfortunately I have problems connecting to the 7.WD server dedicated to TC maps.
Keep getting an error message asking for a crysis disc or something.
Made a more detailed post about that issue in tech section

As for TC needing tweaks and balance, I noticed that sometimes players on TC maps tend to play as if it was TSA and not TC.
Maybe thats part of the issue with TC maps?

I get 210-220 to Huntress from NZ, only Australia misses out.

I am from Russia and have pings about 180-200 to Huntress. Not getting kicked, but such pings are hardly playable for me. Also, can't use ASF (will be lagging like hell to others).

It is RDL. Now they can't at least take Vulture A from the start...

Wrong.  I am in the middle east and it's usually out of reach here, too, varying between 280 and 320.

The XI host did make some changes to his server based on popular demand recently. Still, I don't like playing on XI too much. I do appreciate everyone who hosts a server, though.

I like all MWLL match types. Even SA can be a lot of fun.

I played a fun game against a couple of the RDL guys the other day.  Tripod and Yalk were there, the former and I started on the same team as the RDL guys and the game was looking to become a stomp so the two of us switched and we began slowly closing the 700ish point difference.  It was a difficult battle, and it was satisfying when the enemy team began spamming MK2 Bs and Vulture Bs in desperation once we'd caught back up.  Their cheap tactics were no match for our legging though. 8)

Also, WTF is with the score/rank relation since the new patch?  I should've placed in first according to my overall score.

This one is simple to answer: You were GC with enough points to be SKN, however since there already WAS a SKN (and afaik there can be only one) You weren't promoted immediately. If the game had lasted a bit longer, that would have changed eventually.

The reason you're the lowest within the GC rank is probably just being sorted by name, and not by score...?
Or maybe it's just plain random...?

Well I think the reason why XI is so popular is that it's rather full all the time and that it has a good ping if you're playing in Europe. I played a lot on them, but the teamplay isn't that good. And yeah all that sand maps got me real "sand-sick" after a while.

But then the 7WD servers are awesome with good Admins. My first try on Kagoshima there yesterday, It was awesome, safe for some toad named KBUCY getting insulting, well one of the admins noticed him and he was gone. Thanks for the good work. The People there were good, we were about twelve but we had a good close match on sandblasted, when the server unfortunately crashed. We had whittled them down to 130 tickets, damn, but it was a great match. I think I'll hang out more on the 7WD servers especially the 1 server. They seem to be a good lot. My usual game time is 22:30/23:00 to 01:00 Hours GMT +1, well plus one hour summer time right now.

Well then let's try to use other servers, usually when you join an empty server it doesn't take long for other players to show up.

Xesle, there can only be one Khan! ;) And one saKahn, either.  ;)

It's seemingly random currently, due to a bug, yes.

That was a really fun game! Best I've had in a long time!

And by "stomp" you mean it was 9 on 3 (me being one of those 3)  :P thanks to you two for switching.....

(and for rallying to "concentrate on their right leg!")

The thing with TSA is you have to make your own fun, last night I played and had a blast on that same map....mostly surprising Long range snipers and campers with the UAC20 scat....then a fast brawlers wet dream, a LT trying to make a pitiful escape back to base....he didn't make it....
