That being said even the cartoon didn't have a hugely high opinion of Victor. Adam pretty much thinks he's kind of a well meaning moron.
Well, little Vicy was never really popular in the lyran part. 
So I'd consider that allright.
He was not very popular in the Davion part either. He's just a marysue author wish fulfillment character. But you've already heard my opinion before, I don't need to go into anymore detail about that.
