That harkens me back to the days of doom, quake, and unreal. My crazy control scheme is still effective in slower paced FPSs.
a = jump s = look up f= center view up arrow = forward
z = crouch x = look down down arrow = back
crtl = fire alt = oddly alternate fire for Unreal right arrow = turn right (strafe right)
space = strafe modifier left arrow = turn left (strafe left)
I had an even crazier friend who used mouse buttons for turn right and turn left, middle button for fire. And mouse movement left and right for vertical aim.
