Ive been using an OLED for a year now and Im happy as a mofo.
The low resolution (1360x768) is great for my Geforce8800GT.
Its only 15", but when you sit close to the screen its easily enough.
The colors, viewing angles, brightness+contrast, perfect black is delicious.
Its a LG 15EL9500

That res is pathetically bad, oled or not.

Actually no, his 15" OLED has a much finer dot-pitch (0.2439mm) compared to your 26" (0.2917mm). Looking at the display's DPI is important as well.

what you haven't taken into consideration is you have to sit closer to a 15" monitor. The lack of detail at that resolution is very apparent. In comparison my 27" Ips has a dot pitch of i believe 0.23mm which makes it unbelievably sharp

It's Magicsquirrels07 IPS not mine. I wouldn't buy an IPS because I'd get 120hz and have smoother gameplay. And DPI isn't everything. If they was both the same size, sure. But they aren't. IPS will look cripser, sharper and higher quality, expecially if you are closer to the screen. If you sat miles from both screens, then you might struggle to notice the advantage of the IPS screen. But noone uses their PC from that distance (And everything would be tiny lol!)

What I really want to know, is why he spent shed loads of money on an OLED 15" screen instead of buying a better PC with a non OLED monitor...Surley since you play games, that would of been a far better use of your money. But hey not my money!
