Need Ingame BGM! :D

Some official maps have BGM (Extremity & Deathvalley?).
And I think some people played TC_Zoetemeer. It has great BGM. BGM makes originality, atmosphere, high morale.

How do you think about this?
The ideal is each map have different BGM, but it's not a bad thing that similar maps have the same music.

EDIT: As Spooky said, I'm talking about "Ingame BGM of MWLL". Not music player or etc. of PC.

True that, the background music (you could have written it at least once...) adds a lot to the atmosphere on those maps. But I wouldn't want it on every map, it would make it less special. TSA_Altay (iirc) also has a very faint background music. But it's weird there.

I might be adding "Welcome to the Jungle" to my Jungle Impact maps at some point, but I don't know how do do it right now :-\

Instant BGM, and the stations you create will be tuned to your liking.  Get the subscription to dump the occasional advert; it is well worth it, IMHO.

That's not background music, that adds to the atmosphere of a map. That's just music. (And not available outside of the U.S.A. btw.)

Backgroundmusic is only good if it can be turned off. Because each person has his own favorite music. Or maybe even plays without any music.
I enjoy my MW2, GBL, Mercs, Heavy Gear and Dark Reign list while playing MWLL.

Indeed, but ACE FIGHTER is not talking about such background music, at least not exclusively. He is talking about the atmospheric sounds and music in TC_DeathValley and TSA_Extremity for instance. TC_Zoetemeer includes music for nostalgic effect though, yeah.

I believe those obey the setting labelled "Music" under sound settings.

That's what I do, and yes it is well worth it.  I just imagine it is my cockpit stereo.  Nothing like stomping while listening to some Joni Mitchell. ;)

We have all sorts of music, but we've not actually used any of it. I'd like to try and change that.

I think it would be cool to have the first 5-10 minutes of joining have a nice atmosphere track, and the last 5 minutes (or the last 50 tickets) involve a nice action-based track that plays. BF3 does something similar, and it works really well.

I don't know about music constantly playing though - there is logic for it, but it would be somewhat distracting and repetitive unless we had a gianormus and memorable music library to pull from like old C&C games- but we don't.

Battlefield only plays the endgame music when tickets drop below ~10. Which means that the music lasts for like 20 seconds.  ::)

I turn off all music when gaming, makes it harder to hear TS and listen to the game. So you can keep the BGM to yourselves.
