MGs would be nice on BAs, on mechs MGs are meh no matter how hard one wants to like them.

And just to know, 0.25 tons both IS and Clan variants? and that includes the ammo? if so please give them a normal 1T of ammo and make them worth something again like in 0.2.

... 0.25 ton MGun has a preloaded ton of ammo?

Thats pretty mind blowing

Try the fact you get twice as many missiles per ton of ammo on the Dual launchers.  :o

I recall loading mechs up with nothing but machine guns in MW3. Things like Summoners and Hellbringers that could be sped up to 90km and loaded with 20+ of the things could toast assault mechs in about 10 seconds. Now you could only do it about twice before running out of ammo, but it really was hilarious.

You could do it in MW4 as well, but it took a lot longer to kill a mech. Still get about 2-3 kills before you would run out of ammo. Though anything with regular weapons would toast you.

Can I ask where your pulling your multiplier information from please?

I get it from the Shiva XML file located in an unzipped GameData.pak.  In GameData/Scripts/Entities/Vehicles/Implementations/Xml/IS_Shiva.xml.

I look for the <Movement Params> section, then the DamageMultipliers section underneath it.

The parsed data is also available from my automated script and google docs, found at:

I did the same. I rather enjoy a pounce on em and chew their face off playstyle so it was great fun for me...worked well with my combat temperment.
