LBX MK2 should have more ammunition?

Only LBX10 x24 + LBX20 x12... why? No stock.

It's pretty underwhelming too, as it's weapons fall off as soon as they face a decently powerful mech/tank

It kinda feels like a Hunchie IIC now that I think about it. Wondering if it's supposed to ???

Yeah, I generally see MK2 A's as easy kills, because the alpha strike is easy to predict and dodge, and the lbx20s are easy as hell to destroy.  If you're gonna be brawling in an assault, I say you're far better off in a MK2 B, and it costs around the same price too.

Mk2 A is already a very powerful mech. High alpha, incredible protection (hands life free shield)... It can rape 2-3 mechs in a raw before RTB. No need to change it.

They want boat variants to have an inherent flaw, the LBX MK-2 being no additional ammunition. If however there is an APC in the area than that weakness is negated.

IIRC, MKII A with the 4x LBX cannons was a mech I'd avoid under all circumstances if I was flying an aero. Aren't there field bases where you can rearm now? Surely the ammo cap cant be as bad as it was when you had to run alllll the way back to base.

Useless mech, you can have an equivalent IS-flavored weapons payload, plus wings, plus return to base ticket, plus extra ammo, at a lower price, taxes and delivery included.

I would replace the lbx 10's with 2 dual csrm6 and give it 2 cmpl 2 csp l(warhammer prime style) on the center torso

Aerospace don't really fear an  individual beatstick MKII.  Because they can ignore inertia, they can dive bomb the MKII directly above its head, then fly STRAIGHT BACK UP.  Repeat as necessary.  You never even need to fly within the MKII's field of view.

They might have some issues if two beatstick MKII's are covering each other's blindspots....but then you've got two assault class assets filling the role of AA work...it had better be effective.

Anyway, its been said already.  Anything the beatstick MKII can do the beastick shiva does better and at a lower cost.

And if the MKII's are doing that.. I'm going to LT the shit out of them. No the MKII's have a good use. Any map that a Shiva can't be used on. Not every asset should be effective on every map.
