hmmm... I think, right now, it's due to timing.  When the time between major content release grows more of the vets tend to do a lot of "for the lulz" (that could be anything from Fbombing all the time, to legging for lolz, to taking packs of flame harasser. etc) then being super helpful.  But as soon as the patch is released they go back to being helpful.

nah you know what I mean, some vets are helpful all the time, but some start doing a lot of lulz/trollish stuff when bored.

I don't care as long as someone finishes the job. If I leg anyone it's in an effort to stop you from moving and finish you off, I don't troll people by leaving them in a ruined mech. I know it makes perfect tactical sense to just leave em as a BA but I'm not that ruthless.

I get legged all the time that wasn't the issue however annoying it can be. The problem I had was no one cared, and the server rules was not up held. Why have rules if no one has to follow them, might as well take the rule off the server.

accidental leggings do occur. We have acknowledged this in the legging rule.
The Legging rule reads:

Intentional Legging
Essentially this rule is in place to prevent people from intentionally legging for fun.
Specifically going after mech leg only, resulting in a gimp or the leg coming off. In any battle a mech might get legged (or gimped), but usually there is damage on other parts of the mech. also.
The Owens is an exception to the legging rule, because of it's design the legs are prominent and too easy to hit by accident.
The Owens is NOT an exception any longer due to the resulting loophole being abused

If you believe your getting legged intentionally and the rest of your mech has little or no damage, then we need to know it.
We need screenshots and names for review.
If one of the Admins is on.. then bring it to their attention.

Im one of those fellas who dont have server access. There were some legging incidents last Friday, but all I can do is encourage people to let it go and discourage "revenge legging."  I need some kind of macro to type out "please dont leg each other gents" because last week I think I said it about 100 times.

Earlier today some guy in a warhammer legged my bushwacker on death valley, i fell over and proceeded to leg him while i was laying in the sand. It was honestly pretty funny.
