So there have been a lot of new players that have joined up lately and I thought perhaps a new style of TSA ranking might make the matches more fun for them and help retain them and eliminate some of the frustration.
Instead of starting with the lowest rank, everyone starts at the highest rank, allowing them to buy anything they want. Then as you earn more damage points and kills you go down in rank instead of up. This allows the bad players to keep playing with heavy assets and forces the good players and vets into lighter and lighter assets until they are stuck with hovercraft and sparrowhawks. Earnings would be capped at half your current ranks starting value to prevent buying new assets and forcing you down in asset if you eject and run away. This would also have the effect of auto balancing the teams to a certain extent since if one team is all vets they would be stuck quickly with crappier assets. It would also focus the game more on the destruction of wounded assets, since you would not want a vet in an assault to have a chance to repair.
This all of course assumes that people who have been playing a long time don;'t mind playing in the lighter assets. Personally I only really enjoy the sub 30k stuff so my view might be biased.
