So here's something I don't get. Nearly half of the mods in the top 100 weren't released this year.
Mods that have had a major update or lots of updates since their initial release can be eligable to win again. The top 100 is not the winners, so even older mods that get enough votes to make it in, can be in the top 100.
Note that even if a mod gets enough votes in this stage to get to top 10, might not be eligable to win - in order to get anything more than an "honorable mention" you need to rank higher in voting than what you previously won (obvously this is only eligable if you get into the top 10). SUch as last year, we got an honorable mention because we got enough votes to make it into top 10, butwe already got there in a previous year so we couldn't win "again".
Since MWLL has won MOTY already, its pretty much impossible for it to get anything other than an honorable mention, unless somehow it gets MOTY again. Which probably wont happen unless the judges deem it having enough updates or a major enough of an update to be eligable again, but I doubt that since they tend to only do that sort of thing when mods get out of beta or totally change up the game with an update.
