Doesn't even look remotely like the Karnov.

Just little history here. I was on the MWLL team when the Karnov was born. The orginal 3D artist for the Karnov was Hunter May. http://www.linkedin.com/in/huntermay

While I will agree the Karnov was much more sleek and had rotors, the thinking on the team at that point was to have a vehicle that could airlift at least a Demolisher to different locations on the map. There were technical difficulties with keeping the Demo in the cargo bay so at the time this heavy lift VTOL was put on the back burner, priority wise. At that time it was flyable in game.

Even if it is just a prop now, it will add more to the appearance of maps and be something to fight around.  :)

I'd be happy with new Heavy\Assault mechs. More to shred through with my Huit Prime, or Partisan E. Thoough I've become a fan of BAs recently...

Have enemy LT take out your LT and both Huits ::)

I doubt an LT on the ground will get the angle to hit an LT on a mountain lol. Possible. But unlikly. And to narc the AA tanks and LT they have to get within 900m. Sure they aren't likly to die but even at 1200M, they can still be damaged not to mention you can just get one person doing AA duty in an aero if you really want to stop the camp fest from dying :D

LT can do a high angle shot, so they can pretty much hit anything that isn't underground.

But it will still be worth air-lifting a Long Tom to somewhere the enemy does not expect. On most maps if there is an enemy LT, there are just 2 or 3 places it will be. Now if I could air-lift an LT to one of the unused corners of Mirage... it will take a while to figure out where it is.

Added bonus: Those same unused corners of the map are where most Aero use as flight paths. Parking a huit there would be hilarious.

I've landed narcs from over 1300 meters (1353m or something), so you don't have to get near 900 meters to NARC (900m is where they lock, but as long as your NARC doesn't crap out and Veer off {even a degree or two at that range will cause a miss, but hey, you got 4 shots} you can easily hit stuff the size of Huits and LTs at that range, especially since they rarely move) and you can shoot your TBolts from the same distance (if a Huit actually even SEES you at that range he won't bother wasting ammo) Having a BS Shiva patrol the skies would probably do it but that thing is called the BullShit Shiva by many for a reason

And like El said, hitting an LT on a mountain isn't much of an issue anyway
