Both new Assauts seem to have great variants.
I have yet to move aroud a bit more in the smaller Uziel. I just noticed there is a variant with a Narc launcher, very appreciated.
Also looking forward to a bit more Marshes.

- Fafnir and Blood Asp are baller 'mechs, but their cost is far too low.
- The other assaults are quite worthless compared to the Fapnir and Basp. Besides these two 'mechs getting a price increase, the Atlas and MKII should be re-evaluated (especially MKII Prime-it needs some free tons to compete).
-I tend to be running around in an Osiris/Heph/Owens until I get ~140k and then buy a Basp B. I really think there is something wrong with cash flow when I completely skip all of the wonderful assets between the starting ones and the end-game ones.
When will full game/demo/beta be released?
We're planning a beta release in the next *very* few weeks. At this time, we can't be more specific. Please stop asking.

No, I will not stop asking.

Harassers feel much more viable now with the armor change.

Flamers don't feel like they're melting me instead of my target.

Mauler and Awesome (two very good mechs with a very good purpose) are being outright skipped due to the massive rape fest from even the cheapest Fafnir(those 4 LT gauss are tough to beat except with ELRMs)

LRMs feel MUCH better now.  Like they can actually hit targets and have a real role in pounding on the big slow assaults.

Pro: Blasp Prime and C are my favorite mechs of all time, totally awesome to glide around in. Similarly, Faf and Blasp both seem to have all the best features a mech could want (aside from electronics) - high turret pitch, stable movement platform, extreme firepower, heavy armor, awesome looks.

Con: NO BA LAUNCHERS.

Blood Asp and Fafnir feel way too cheap for the devastating firepower they bring to the table.

IMO they obsoleted just about every other assault, because holy crap they're good :V

I'd definitely take a second look at the Atlas line, because with the exception of the E, they all look extremely anemic at this point. The Blood Asp and Fafnir definitely raised the bar for firepower, and unless something changes (their cost, other Assaults getting more powerful, or a nerf) they will be the go-to assaults for 95% of players.

Pulse lasers are wicked now, a much welcomed change. I was actually thinking the other day about how Pulses and Beams were quite similar; now with their faster fire rate and shorter firing time they can operate more like X-Pulse - they can hit critical/consistent parts that only have small windows to be shot.

The scalpel Morrigu is good again HURRAY!!!!

I love the new pulse lasers!

I can smash a fafnir to bits with my old favorite the mark ii B.

The atlas C in my hands can beat a blood asp or fafnir.

I love legging bushwackers instantly with the POWER GLOVE. Very satisfying.

The new mk ii D a welcome variant. I did like the old one but this new one is very good.

As for all this hub bub about the old assaults being worthless well thats very subjective while i will say some of the variants are crap on the atlas compared to the fafnir, in the right hands the classics will still smash the neo assaults to bits.
additionally reducing the price on the old assaults will have extreme ramifications. EXTREME!

Wait, what's the new Mk. 2 D? Wiki hasn't been updated and I'm not waiting thirty minutes to launch the game just to see a loadout.

I really like the Blood Asp C; it's a fantastic brawler with enough long-range pressure to force people to stay and fight it. The LBX20s make for great flyswatters, too.

I did too but the ATM's were nerfed.

Before they were nerfed i was getting 45/0 on a regular basis.

The new D probably outputs more damage vs the nerfed ATM variant.
