I assume most of you have watched this and likely have mixed feelings about it.

I think it's pretty good and for a kid's show gives a pretty decent representation of the BT universe. The hero aspect is a little bit cheesy, but there were a lot of heroes about at this point.

Still it's canon, which is fairly hilarious.

considering the only weapons ever used ever were lasers, even when a certain character said that they wouldn't use lasers, I was a bit disappoint

I just launch our game, go into spectator and type in cl_hud 0, then I watch the only good part of that cartoon just with updated graphics!

y'know, the things that are the ones fighting 90% of the time
all of the mechs that clearly have missiles or autocannons (besides that one time with the hatchetman) only ever use lasers

The MadDog uses its missiles....

They just had such bad Graphics that the red looks like lasers....the missiles come out in a MW2:31st type way, one after the other.....

the combat scenes are definitely the worst choreographed ever, even for a kids show they're just bad.  But I still love em :)


Best example is in the 2nd or 3rd episode you see a Mauler just casually walk through a jade falcon formation like "oh my whats this here guess I'll stromp on through and not die"

I personally love running around the board in a Firemoth 4ERMBL & Targeting computer legging everything on the table.....With Elementals as extra armor....if they survive the intitial legging passes then I drop them off on the poor legged bastard....

....but only against stravags that decide "I want too use Clan tech" but "don't want to follow Clan honor rules" as a JF I feel it's my duty to punish those....

....he did take on a entire lance by himself, I would have started legging bitches too....

This cartoon was best. Battletech plus cheesy kids 90s.
