I'm pretty sure the Thanny's seems wider because of its offset in relation to the cockpit.
When will full game/demo/beta be released?
We're planning a beta release in the next *very* few weeks. At this time, we can't be more specific. Please stop asking.

No, I will not stop asking.

What may be happening is lag issues. The LBX doesn't give off a hitbeep like other non-hitscan weapons, so there's no way to actually tell if you're impacting the target or not except if damage shows up. If you're in a high-speed death circle up close where the enemy's position relative to yourself is changing quickly, this means it might look like you're hitting but you're actually not.

The reason you're finding more consistent results when you're using a tank is because you're moving slower, which means there's less difference between where your client thinks things are and where the server thinks they are.

highly possible. plus, with tanks, there is no strafing about, most attacks are dead on, therefore there is no real avenue for lagmiss.

Double Post Apology:

anyways, i tried out the cheaphammy LBX version, and was pleasantly suprised at the synergy between the MRM's and the LBX10's, as they form an excellent support mech at 700m.

however, due to the next patch buffing AC's, i will prolly just switch back to the stock cheaphammy, as the MRM30 is just better.

LBX 10s do exactly half the damage of LBX 20s, so its actually a pretty fapping good gun due to the tight spread on the pellets.

New idea- would I be able to use an external hard drive to add RAM and/or improve gigahertz?

Warhammer C is one of my favorite mechs. It can engage anything at medium range and enjoys particular (and sometimes surprising) success against Aerospace since most pilots don't expect to get hit by LBX at 700m while making an attack run. The pair of machine guns also puts pilots into panic mode as they are realizing that they just got hit by the equivalent of an LBX20 just as they start their attack run. A cloud of MRMs is the final persuasive measure to convince them to peel off, and once they do the LBX10s have reloaded and they've given you a nice belly shot to finish them off.

Against mechs, those LBX10s can add up quick, especially once the enemy gets into LBX20 range (~450 meters or closer), they can really land a solid smack, followed up the MRMs. Even better, if the enemy has a Narc on them, those MRMs chew a hole through a mech like its armor was bacon and the MRMs were piranhas. The LBX10s are then best use to exploit said hole in the armor and get a quick kill.

Beautiful machine with plenty of extra ammunition on it. When I have run out, it was only because there was a field of burning enemy assets left in my wake.

i once spectated maus in a puma <a>? the erppc, lbx10 one tear shit up so then I realized what a great weapon the lbx 10 is. Your aim has to be right on though. With the lbx 10 you get enough ammo where its ok to sandpaper a littlebit
Just discovered the lbx20 scat. That thing could be one of the scariest mechs out there. Brutal infighter that can be in the targets face from anywhere in no time.
Is that scat view bug gonna be fixed anytime soon as that is really a major bummer for the scat attack experience.

Puma B is the one with CERPPC, CLB10X, 2 Machine Guns, GECM, and MASC. I use that machine quite a bit when I'm on clan side. It sure makes a nasty surprise for Aerospace fighters, and those machine guns give you something to do at long range against them.

What scat view bug are you talking about?

I think he's referring to how Shadowcats can aim so damn high without having to crouch.

no , i mean that when you JJ, torso twist, fire, and then land, theres a glitch where suddenly your looking like 90,180 degrees away from where you <should> be looking and you have to figure out  what direction your actually facing.
I think its something that only happens when you JJ? but it sure is a pita for using a scat in close quarters.

I am really liking the cheaphammy with the MRM30s.  If you use it like a support mech from max range, it really shines.  The AC10s can do a great job of suppressing your opponent's screen and the MRM30s pack a huge whallop against big mechs because you can land a big portion of your missiles on them.

I don't think piranhas would eat bacon.  Too salty.
