Eh, cameras and massive screens. Few mechs use actual windows to look out of.

You have to remember it's not that they don't want to *though that might be true I don't know*.  It's that due to engine limitations they HAVE to have the cage shown.

I actually always assumed the pilot looked out of the nose.

That would be one narrow FOV though.

MW4 had the cockpit inside the left eye.

Question: Looks like extending the cockpit isn't possible. Would it be possible to have the radar display on a second screen, up all of the time? When the circle radii get fixed, it would be invaluable for Long Tom'ing, as well as any other people that want a good overview of the battlefield. Is this restricted as well?
