LAMS doesn't shoot down missiles if you are passive. if its happening its because the person is triggering the radar on and off so the LAMS activates.

LAMS do shoot down missiles if you are passive, currently, even if you were passive all the time. There is a dedicated thread about this, since some people complained, that they cannot remain stealthy when running passive, because the LAMS gives your position away.

This is exactly why I love to dumbfire LRMs over hills even if I have no targets there. Especially if I have LRM5s or am close to an APC or a base.
Great for finding sneaky guys.  ;D

Holy mother of god that Blasp is armed to the teeth with heavy lasers. It's going to be like the C.R.A.P. but slower and a billion times more terrifying.

Everything else sounds awesome as well! To think... soon, AC10s might be useful!

Increased prices on the ultra badass assaults is great too, especially with the cheaper Atlas. I used the new Master & Commander last night and was really pleased with how it performs now. Making it even cheaper guarantees I'll use it more frequently (though the Awesome is still a joke).

Consider me excited. I always like new variants, and a cheaper atlas to boot.

Of course, I really like the passive vs. missiles change.  ;D

I too wonder if LAMS is active if you're passive, I hope LAMS is disabled.

Thank the various gods the Harasser “D” is being fixed.  I rage quit MWLL over two weeks ago until it was fixed. The abuse was intolerable for me.  The last game I played half my team rage quit because the other team had 4 or 5 Harasser “D”s. The Harasser pilots said they were sorry but the damage was done.

Harasser Ds are (in 0.5.4) easy to deal with if you're willing to use an asset which counters them, like other hovercraft, the RAC partisan, anything that can fly and anything with a decent number of heat sinks. Using slow assets with no heat capacity against Harasser D is like using BAs against AA tanks.

Most of the changes are never actually listed in the patch notes. You have to go looking for them.  8)

I'm sad that there's no mention of when the abuse of league mode is going to be dealt with.
Leer said, that in the next patch, they will increase the CBill transfer limit to 10000. And if servers are still abusing League Mode after that, they will be dealing with it another way.

The minimum c-bill transfer ceiling will be raised to 10,000 c-bills with 0.5.5 - I didn't mention it here because it had already been the subject of much recent discussion.

Yes, but sometimes they are changed for the better. The New Madcat Mk2 D? Its a beast that eats Blood Asps for breakfast.

Besides, all the new variants are to bring them in line with the build rules.... which means we are 1 step closer to mechlab.

The Mk2 D is so expensive though, I prefer picking my Blood Asp B and have 360 torso twist. But again, maybe the Blood Asp variants will finally cost enough that the B cost more than the Mk2 D.

I recall reading that in another thread, and I assure you no one who plays this mod is happier to hear that than me, but I was asking about the constant League Mode setting being run on some servers rather than the cbill transferring itself.  Are any measures going to be taken to prevent servers from simply re-enabling League Mode if they decide that 10k transfer still isn't enough?

Pricing would be a far simpler (and logical) affair if the lions share of the variant cost was the chassis, not the weapons.
