I sometimes play SA and thoroughly enjoy legging the hell out of everyone, to the point where the entire battlefield is littered with ejected mechs. One I kill the BA, I clean up the downed mechs and rise to #1.

I feel so guilty, but it feels so good!

I don't think I've had a chance yet to pilot the power glove in a SA match, but I've done my share of legging using Demolishers, and you're right.  It does feel good.

Pfft, your method is slow and legged mechs can keep firing. I've used the Power Glove in SA to just obliterate the hell out of tons of peoples' CTs before dying; one time I got 10 (!) kills before getting creamed. It's amazing on Hel's Gate.

I was in that game, which was a good game before you showed up. From that point on , the only person that had fun was you. I guess thats the kind of fun that psychotic boys have torturing animals.. FUn right>??
no, you cant just go around and destroy everyone.. you know.. with the damn powerglove, you have to just leg, and leg and leg..
EVERYONE in the server was like wtf? is wrong with you because YOU took all the fun out of it for everyone.
Not only would you leg, but then you would leave the mechs. I dont know if you can eject in solaris once you power down, but not while active on that server. So only option is to suicide.
Yeah, maybe SOmetimes you can still fire at a target while down, I saw someone doing it, someone else you legged, but most of the time you cant bring shit to bear on anything.
MIND YOU< most of the assets in that game were lights and mediums, so that just makes you going for legs with a powerglove even more amusing..
You have serious issues dude. Legging everyone in a powerglove, and then boasting about how your number one in game, and then come on forums for more of the same?

mekabuser, legging is part of the game.  surprisingly, a mk2 b does very well against that thing.  a mk2 b + any other mech shooting at it should win.  you can even hop onto a fafnir with battle armor and kill it very easily.  you can also power down and hop out, not exactly ejecting, but you are never "stranded" in your mech.

but I agree with you, it takes a certain kind of person to enjoy taking the biggest, meanest, easiest mech for SA and shoot down smaller victims.  it's just not even a challenge.

Fafnir's ridiculous max torso pitch will allow them to look up and blast your leg.

That mech , in the right hands , against inferior assets, just going for legs is wrong.
Its like hanging out with a bunch of your friends wrestling and such and suddenly the biggest guy in the group just starts kicking everyone in the balls one after the other.

If one of your side torsos is destroyed, you would not face this one towards the enemy, right?
So do the same with your legs, hide one leg behind the other.
And why did he have the cash to afford this machine? Either all of you had the same cash, or he did well from the beginning. Either way, you could have done something to avoid him legging all of you.
Team up against the best player. Find a counter, the PowerGlove has a very limited range. At 450m the LBX20 spreads pretty far.
Or just aim at the center of the center torso, you will have a good chance to cockpit him.

It sure is annoying and may be downright overpowered (I prefer the RAC Fafnir though). But if anything, it's something the devs will have to address (and some changes for the legs are coming). It shouldn't be arbitrarily prevented otherwise.

I thought you played MWLL long enough to know, that this won't work . By their very nature, legs are always exposed, when they are not hidden behind the hill from the point of view of the enemy.

Either way, you could have done something to avoid him legging all of you.

You can only run away. And even that is not very effective.

Team up against the best player.

This is the only thing that would work, however, people are oblivious to strategy and tactics in SA. You can't blame Mekabuser for that.
