yay, finally my favorite mech evar!  And its so mean looking which is good, though can't say I'm a fan of the arm shield thing, otherwise its neat looking.

Play my free open source web game MiniMek - Urbie Defense!  Its "mega fun" but with mini meks!

Finally a mech to get excited about!

Of course, I know I've been playing too much MWLL when I see AC10, LRM10, 2ML and think: "Damn, what a crappy loadout".

Why not use the existing MWO thread rather than creating a new topic for every news item?

Why not create a new topic instead of cluttering one thread into a confusing mess? Either way is fine.

Because then Aidan does not get the attention he craves.

I like how, once again, he did it in perfect Aidan style, where he just posts a link.

He has more Topics than I do posts, and I'll bet you that over 80% of them are links with no other text, not even a brief description, or his thoughts, or a topic for discussion.

Just for that reason, and in light of earlier political thread, I'm gonna attempt to toast the shit out of any subsequent new topics he creates like this, and I would encourage others to do so.

Personally I think that they should have made it look like the old centurion

I mean look at the difference

Also,  I think this could have been in the MWO thread
And, I think MWO should produce some images that are more than just concept art, especially as they apparently have a something working and ready for playtest, people are gonna get bored, and they could draw more people in with pretty in game pics.

I generally disapprove of the Centurion (well, "disapprove" is may be a bit strong). It's not the most silly looking humanoid mech, but I always found it more meh than anything. FlyingDebris' rendition is as good as it gets, I guess. Though I still think it looks kind of goofy.

Looks fapping shit, yet another bad design.

I swear the more free reign he's getting the worse of a job he's making of these.

Yay, more concept art.

Here's an idea: ingame screenshots.  PGI does understand that eventually they'll have to show us what these mechs actually look like, right?

It is a pretty nice looking mech, but it's just not a centurion for me, i am afraid . . sorry Alex . .
You made a sweet piece of machinery, again, but it simply should not be called Centurion <.<
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'

Wait, wait.... you mean Mechwarrior Online is a VIDEO GAME? I thought it was a new version of board game with a fancy website/social network. What with the complete lack of any screenshots, videos, or even a description of what the game is like.

They've said actual gameplay shots will be coming soon, around the time of some games conference thats in March, the GDC I believe.

Be glad we're getting any info at all, they could well have just kept quiet up until March instead.

I would have liked that better, then I could have got my disappointment all done in one dose.
