New but no servers?

I been very excited about really getting to play the mod.I will tell you all I didnt buy crysis warhead to play it,I got it to play tis but I see no server but 5 days ago there were 6 but they were empty

You should be seeing more than 6, i just looked and there are 24 servers up

Make sure you have crysis wars patched to the latest version, that you join a server in regular crysis wars with punk buster enabled, and that you have your proper ports forwarded.

This isn't an uncommon issue that some people have, but it's pretty easily fixed.

Sometimes it can be your connection.  Make sure you're not torrenting or using a lot of bandwidth.

Im not but at the same time also having to get this invalid key thing resolved.err the one time I use steam. Na like I siad its the same as it was when I installed it the other day.

You mentioned you didn't get Crysis Warhead (which includes Crysis Wars).

Only the Crysis Wars (aka Warhead) version of the mod, at this point, is offically supported. As such, you'll be hard pressed to find any servers or people playing the normal Crysis version.

Check the "MWLL Status" button on our home-page at http://www.mechlivinglegends.net . It should say how many servers and how many players are playing the mod. Usually there are always a handful of people playing, even more during peak days and hours. Keep in mind though, almost everybody plays on the Crysis Wars (Warhead) version.

EDIT: If you have Crysis Wars/Warhead on steam and it's giving you invalid key issues, contact/email Steam support. They should send you a working key. This has to do with EA sending either not enough keys, or a batch of wrong keys to Steam.

I had a key issue myself and called up EA.  They gave me a new one pretty quickly and it all worked at that point.

However, if you can't actually see any servers then something else is up.  Even when I couldn't join the servers, I could still see them.

Generally if you can't see servers at all, check your Windows firewall to make sure MWLL (Wars) is allowed access to the network. I know the first time I launch MWLL on a new system I have to allow the exception (usually by alt-tabbing after launch when the allow popup comes up, or manually editing your firewall settings).

Well steam support is taking there good old time and this is ridculos.I have waited patiently going on my third day and honestly I find this to be bull crap for customer service.I tried EA and they told me to contact Steam and the lady on EA support told me I only had 18 letter/number keyed but when I counted and I had written it down,I counted 20. I really want to play a mech game and this is the only one I can get working cause I cant connect to any game on mechtek and now this is just gettign annoying because Steam customer service sucks and Ea at least responded to me in 15 minutes.

Have you confirmed, that your Key is correctly put into the registry, before contacting Steam about the Key?
