I do have crysis and crysis warhead and yes I have checked my registry to be sure its correctly inputed and I have tried inputing it again.Steam giving faulty keys is why I have an issue with steam especially when customer service will probably take a week or two weeks to respond at least.

If its a problem with your keys, make certain that the O's are actually O's and not zeroes.  Same with capital I's and ones  (and lowercase l's if the key uses lowercase characters)




On an slightly related note, I rarely see more than 4 servers in my server browser.  However, in my case the empty browser is due to BS from campus network administrators (I swear, they've got everything set up to play WOW just fine but good luck if you want to play something else).  9 times out of 10 I connect to the populated servers directly with the "Connect to IP" button.

Steam customer support is pretty good, it may take a day or so for a response, but they do great work. My buddy is rather dumb and bought crysis, steam refunded his account so he could buy wars. Sorry to hear about your troubles, but don't give up, this mod is worth it, no matter how much hassle.

Customer support from steam sucks.It took me three days to get one response and it was exactly one of the many things I already tried.I have talked to EA twice now and still cant get the problem resolved because the second guy well wasnt at work but was trying to help and he tried and gave me better service than the first person I talked to at EA and the steam takes forever and a day to respond to anything.I am patient but when I have to wait for 3 days to tell me exactly what I had already done and tried from searching fourms and I have stated I have its really annoys me.Then I ask myself did you read what I sent.After this the only service steam is dota 2 from me.

It sounds like you got a bad cd-key, which happens from time to time. Steam support won't be able to help you with that, you need to get a new one from EA.

Alright,someone else took more time to find my odl thread.Didnt  have too but since they did I will use this one.I got my key problem fixed and downloaded from EA.Got both Crysis warhead and crysis War in.I have the mod downloaded and I can access all the normal servers on Crysis wars that are punkbuster protected.Now I just cannot see any MWLL servers. I have all the exceptions under my firewall and I even turned it off to see if that would do anything.

Thank you all for the help ahead of time and if it seems liek I have anger its just been trying to get the key issue resolved and nothing against you all.

Make sure you're launching the mod from the MWLL Launcher and not trying to switch mods from within Wars. The launcher can be found in your MWLL installation directory and comes with an autoupdater/patcher.

Yes now my buddy is having the visual C++ error with his. I dont know how considering we both have the same OS.He is going to do whats been stated in fourms but this gettign the game to work has been a pain in the backside

In the bin32 and bin64 directories of your MWLL installation (Crysis Wars\Mods\MWLL) are Visual C++ redistributable packages that need to be installed for MWLL to run.  When installing the mod, there should've been a prompt to install them that you can skip, even though it tells you not to unless you're absolutely sure you already have them.  The files are name vcredist_x86_2005_KB2538242.exe for the 32-bit version, and vcredist_x64_2005_KB2538242.exe for the 64-bit version.  If you have a 32-bit OS, you only need the x86 one, and if you have a 64-bit OS, just install both so you can run both versions of the game.
