Game starts, plays fine, but I CTD a lot(edit: still crashing as soon as I die.)

As the title states, I launch and play the game fine (after figuring out the annoying 'server authentification (3)' error), and I got in, grabbed an owens B, got my first kill: game freezes and I get the message 'crisis wars has stopped working.' The game then wants me to 'send a report or else I'll face eternal damnation.' lol. Any help?

Specs:
vista 32 bit (going to try xp compatibility mode when I get home)
Intel core 2 duo 3.0ghz
4 gig Corsair DDR2 RAM
Radeon 6780
ASRock mobo

edit: after lowering the graphic settings a bit and running in in dx9 mode, now I can play as long as I want, but then as soon as I die, it locks up. I ahve been sending in reports when possible.

edi2: game plays fine but crashes as soon as I die for the first time. Any help would be great.

I was under the impression that they'd go to the crisis wars guys (are there even any crisis wars mods?), and not the mwll guys, so I didn't send them in.

From doing a bit of reading, crashing on 32bit OS's is more common (and I am using 32 bit vista). Can't fix that though.

I will try updating my Directx, and if the crashes still happen, I will try running it in dx9 mode.

No, these go to the MWLL devs. Sometimes when they have time, the devs will look into your specific crash reports, if you make an inquiry here in the forum.

Crashing on 32-bit is more common on a 32-bit OS, yes, but it shouldn't happen as soon as 10 minutes.

edit: ok, wtf. it's crashing every 10 minutes again. I have no clue whats up. qq

edit2: I tried running it in windows mode and that seemed to help a lot.
