Just heard about the patch.  Did they change anything besides the price, restricting max torso pitch, and the removal of spare ammo?   Because quad lbx20 is still pretty much instant victory against anything within 400 meters.

No just all those things. But it means that it can't venture far away from a home base now.

If trying to capture a base you could defeat 3 mechs if you're lucky before becoming defenceless.

Yeah, the otherwise broken super mech has a downside now.  It is still superb at defending a base.  Stick the fafnir in the defensive position, murder everything.  Repair, rearm, repeat. 

Its gonna take a lot to displace a powerglove hellbent on defending a base.  God help the attackers if a couple of friendly demos dig in as well.

If you want ammo sustainability on a close range fafnir, last I checked the RAC5 fafnir has an ungodly ammo reserve.

The powerglove has a serious flaw - it can't escape mechs going nuclear. In one SA game, I had 3 nukes in a row :(

You do have to time it right, else the Rangers might end up crit chain reacting while one of them isn't in optimal blast range.

Or you know.. we may just whup is big assault butt with our blazing skill... (no pun intended)
