This is what kharnow and the other heavy VTOL will do.

No one knows how those two will enter the game, but paying for an aerial drop via those two cargo carriers would be awesome.
Thanks for the view.

Yeah i still remember how awesome choppers were in BF vietnam--imagine dropping 4-5 BA's into a contested base then picking them up again to defend/capture another base. The maxim is what all APC's should be designed around--combat capable but also able to carry troops. The current APC's should be relegated to mobile spawns and field resupply like the tribes 2 jericho while other APC's act more like AFV's, bring the BA to the field then support them and bring them back.

As it is now all BA's pretty much fight until they die since they have no reason to go back to base. I say give them a starting armor then a hargel armor, hargel is weaker but constantly regens while the other armor takes a special area to repair. Now BA's will have a reason to leave the fight alive rather then dead and if they have AFV's they have a menas to do that.

You think regenerating health makes battle armor not want to stay alive?

how about a hovercraft-style APC? Speedy vehicle. And the BAs can bail when the vehicle slows down.

That's what the Hepatitis is supposed to be in the boardgame - it can transport infantry.

Now it only transports the salty tears if its enemies.

When your hiding in a building while an enemy mech waits outside you either wait till he gos or attack him and die and even then when the enemy leaves your faced with a foot slog till you can find another target. Giving the BA an incentive to RTB or atleast regroup for another attack would go a long way towards making people want to play as dedicated BA. A AFV means the pilot has an incentive to pick up BA's and the BA's have an incentive to work with the team since they now got a ride to the hot spots.

When a Mech turns your back on you, that's when you start attacking again. He won't be gone very far in those first foot steps, unless it's a Light or Medium Mech with MASC.

I bring the Maxim up every few months, because I think it is awesome and it would be just as awesome in MWLL. Its a hovertank that can transport infantry (or BA in a refit variant) but at the same time is armored and armed well enough to function as a medium hover-MBT.

In MWLL it could be a fast medium tier hovertank with good armor and weapons and the ability to carry 2 or more BA players like a APC. (but without the buying and spawning)
Reading... never overrated.
