Favorite local food joints
Zaro27:
What's your favorite local food place? Not some shitty fast food chain, but something started by a dude in your area. Something better than fast food.
For instance, Bandito Burrito. This shit is good, mad good. It's a hole in the wall in a shitty part of town run by hippies and stoners and they make bitchin tex-mex. Giant burritos filled with beans, meat, lettuce, rice, and cheese. Hell, I'm eating one right now. Is this shit expensive? fapp NO! Have you looked at the attachment? Shit, bro, for 5.50 I got the aforementioned burrito as well as rice and beans.
LOOK AT IT!
Goddamn that thing looks delicious. Tastes delicious too. fapp yeah, cheap food.
What's your local joint like?

LOL, I can walk there. And yes that shit is really good! :) :) 8)
Thanks for the dinner idea. Two steak burritos please.

There's this place downtown called the Pita Pit. Obviously, they make pita's. Subway style, where you pick your meat and tell them what veggies you want. It's damn good, bigger than a sub and for the same price.
Unfortunately, I have no pictures.

Pita pit is a chain....delicious but a chain, unless your also referring to the one in Auburn...I'm pretty sure I've eaten at other ones than besides that one...
Nacho mamma's is a local place here that's pretty good..."Mexican" (hippies)
Manuel's is delicious...French style cafe, or a french cafe....cause Manuel is straight up from France...
Boll weevil - sandwich restaurant, sit down....very good (hippies)
New moon cafe - sandwich cafe, very....hippy....but really good
Last but not least, Yosko's Japanese steak house....very affordable and I can't finish a plate...oh and f***ing delish
All very very good places to eat
Would be my top picks for the area....
And, seems there is a trend in ownership of these delicious local eaterys
