Nice, internals failing. At what point will a mech fall and when will it slow down?

Slows when external armour component is destroyed, falls when internal component is destroyed.

Yay! we have internal damage. I have a question though, will mechs be as easy to take down as they are in the current version? Meaning does the 'extra' internal 'health' just get added on top of what is already there now, or is the external armor going to be reduced to compensate for the extra health the internals provide?

I ask this because I've always thought that mechs are a little bit too hard to kill and always wanted for a global armor reduction of maybe 10% but it's never been bad enough for me to say anything about it or even get frustrated about it; but if these internals are increasing the health of all assets then I'm very afraid that it's going to make that problem worse to the point where I get frustrated about it. It' might not be too bad, but I'm afraid it will.

The whole point of this new system is to make legging less effective for instance. At least for the legs it means that the internal health exists additionally to the current (external) armor. And god no, no armor reduction please ;).

I like the HUD notification.  That's tight.  This is going to be one heck of an exciting release.

Who wants to  take bets on if people will rage from being legged under the new systems? Anyone? Anyone?

You know leg rage will still happen. Internals aren't suddenly going to make people stop legging.
At this point, why not right?

All except for free-reticule, which is still tbd, no?  And no, Spartan, mechs are plenty easy to kill, it's the vehicles that will need re-tweaking, once internals are good to go, and maybe in the buff direction.

Yes, you get cored fast. I know the arms got weaker Armor than the torso, but they are more difficult to hit. Mayby the new aiming system will help also because you can't get all your weapons to bear on one location as easy as now if torso rotation is reduced to compensate for the quicker arm movement.

And the Devs are amazing, implementing one magnificent feature after another, tweaking assets, building new ones usw.

People are still going to cry about being legged in any leg system because people are fapping stupid.

It still works!

But we can make it shorter :

People are still going to cry.

Brevity is the soul of wit!

At least with internals, we can have finer gradations of non-functional than we have before.  Good work, devs!

My only suggestion would be to require a certain damage threshold for taking off a limb completely, so that cheap shots can't keep a mech from repairing to fully operational.
Thanks for the view.
