I would like to see a cyclops or battlemaster or some assault mech that fields a lot of electronics to support the assault mech blob thats moving along.

We need the Penetrator (75 ton IS laserboat) as a counterpart to the Novacat (70 ton clan laserboat)

And the Bane would be awesome as a counter to the Mauler. (It would be an awesome ASF raper, too ;D)
Just take out the MGs, that would leave it with 10 UAC2 and a ton of reloads for each ;D

Rule of cool. The Avatar looks boring compared to the headless, parts-everywhere Summoner.

In the end, let's never ignore a cool-looking 'Mech because its loadout doesn't compare well to another's - the entire reason we're playing a 'Mech game instead of a tank game is because 'Mechs look cooler. TLDR I wanna see a Rifleman IIC! :P

The Nova (Black Hawk) would be an absolute nightmare to implement with the way MWLL 'Mechs are built.  Since the "arms" mount to the same axis as the legs, there would be almost no torso twist, instead relying on the legs to provide minimal twisting.  The arms would have to be individually animated to approximate torso twist for aiming, which would likely incur some nasty clipping issues with the legs.  Fully and properly animated, the legs would "kick" the arms when attempting to aim side-to-side.
 
This is probably why you never see a Nova positioned in any of the line art with the weapons facing anything other than centerline-front.

And that's how it worked in MW2. Almost no torso twist at all. If it turned fast enough, that wouldn't be a problem anyway. Keep the arms as they are, don't allow them to move side-to-side :P

Nova ftw!


The Adder/Puma isn't supposed to have torso-twist either btw ;D

Creating a new movement system and animation set just for one 'Mech is not high on the priority list.
