MWLL Actionmapper v0.4.1 (for MWLL v0.7)

Since the Actionmapper is part of a separate piece of updating that ShdNx may not be able to get to just yet for his RL school stuff, I am attaching the latest version of it which adds in the ability to rebind the Free Reticle actions (top of Mech tab) and Radio Commands (bottom of Player tab).  Enjoy!

You can either extract this on top of your existing MWLL/Actionmapper directory, or you can extract it anywhere else. Just run Actionmapper.exe (not .jar)!


UPDATE: added next/prev vehicle info actions to the Vehicle tab!  Download the 0.4.1a.zip for that.  Also I went ahead and included the src zip since sourceforge is being a pain not letting me login.  But all you need is the dist zip to use it.

Did you get the info screen buttons for the Mech and Tank from the tester thread added?

Mm..we need this in actionmaps than.

The info screens for the Tank and Mech HUD are coded to page up and page down. You need this in your action maps too:

my program files version is

MWLL Actionmapper 0.2.1
But the version i get via the launcher is 0.4.0

Should i delete the 0.2.1 folder or uninstall it via the uninstall file ?

Can i then unzip the new version ?
will the launcher see 4.1 ?

if you have 0.2.1, then your stuff hasn't been getting updated at all. 0.4.0 is where it was supposed to be at for 0.6.x

Yeah its odd the only directory i have in program files is 2.1 but when i use the actionmaps button from the launcher its 0.4.0

oh that explains a lot more!  I believe the first version of the actionmapper that got included with MWLL was 0.3, prior to that it wasn't part of the mod and was installable separately.  go ahead and uninstall it, 0.4.1 is what you want!

I DL'd and unzipped it and i can run the exe which shows the free/centre reticule options.
My launcher version is still 0.4.0 but i assume i can use 4.1 to change the xml and those values will translate to the game.

Next question, will changing those values fix the issue with the (gamepad) right thumbstick no longer torso twisting or looking up/down ?

Thanks Mate, yeah it does work really well, including the toggle function.
We rightly give a lot of credit to the guys who bring us the visuals here, but cappers work on the actionmap side of things is that of the unsung hero imo.

Ive used 4.1 to set my free reticule to left alt as a toggle, really easy it was too.

As for my gamepad issue, its odd, if i hold the thumbstick hard left/right/up/down for long enough it eventually slowly does what its told, useless in a combat situation, but i figured id throw the data in in the hope it helps.

Did you try to increase the joystick sensitivity?
