make an attempt to reciprocate some financial gain from the endeavor.
MWLL could have been picked up, ye never know.

What are you working on eRkkituo? Can you tell?

Something that we hope will shape up to be a simulator-y combined-arms multiplayer game with emphasis on unit tactics in a futuristic, apocalyptic setting. Walking death machines will be involved.

PM me or deathbane if you have skill and time to contribute. We have a decent amount of the basic designwork done, but we need concept artists BADLY.

Yes this is indeed the case. The problem with working with your own IP is unfortunately, you literally have 0 to base anything on. We are still getting the setting, basics, art style etc worked out before anything can go ahead, and its very difficult getting anyone involved not only due to $$$ concerns, but also all the legal stuff necessary to protect it.

For example, S7alker117 wanted to do some writing stuff for us to help us get our background setting in order, and although me and some others in the team want him aboard, the fact is until we get some legal cohesion it puts us in a vulnerable position to get anyone outside of the core team involved due to fears they could later put a claim in on the hard work.

Maybe we are paranoid, but its something that unfortunately something that, due to this and other experiences, we are really struggling to work around.

New idea- would I be able to use an external hard drive to add RAM and/or improve gigahertz?

Basically all you need to know is it'll be the best game ever made.

I mean I'm involved for crying out loud!

Time and (mediore) writing skills are probably all I have.

I am also a trained electrician, but I highly doubt that will help in any way.

If you need another writer/thinker for your team, shoot me a message.

(Also note that I'm having surgery tomorrow, and cannot guarantee on what the drugs will do to my brain short to mid term... It could be advantagous... or it could spawn a worse idea than 'tilight')

Write it down regardless.

I know there is a very small team of players right now that have modded a single player version of mechcommander 2, but it doesn't have any kind of multi-player support or updated graphics.

Yes, we're a small group, unfortunately :(
There's quite a lot of things in the way of multiplayer and graphics updates, atm...

Twinkletoes, I pretty much don't care for your opinion especially now the train has proverbially left the station, so to speak.

You can try taking that moral highground, but we can see what that has done overall to the mod with its 10 player population. We should know after all, since we are running and paying for the main game servers that are still actually played upon.

I never claimed I owned MWLL or anything stupid like that, neither did HAARP. Its not my fault you decided to crucify HAARP publicly for simply trying to make a submod, and continue to do so even after official release has halted when it was specifically told it would no longer be an issue (because this is effectively v1).

But then again I still remember all the fapping butthurt over sjs small mod they deployed on their servers which saw that entire clan banned for a week or two, that was just another over reaction which alienated the community. So guess I shouldnt be surprised. Keep up the good work.

If you want to continually bring this up, and blame me for not joining in your witch hunt, 'towing' the party line, and simply being haarps friend, im sure we could happily pull all financial support for our servers from the game and use that elsewhere, including all SVNs currently being used for community projects that could potentially expand the life of the game.

Bird_Thing, that omnitech mod is most good.

witch hunt

It was more than a just a witch hunt and those in question know damn well why it wasn't.
It's just ironic to talk about about fidelity and trust in the core team while knowing full well the shit we had to go through internally to secure our own hard work.

Though I guess first-hand experience goes a long way towards retrospect.

QFT

I'm unashamedly loyal to the team and the hard work they put into this project.
They have a perfect right to present that work in accordance with the creators vision, and not marred

You have to understand the code of duty and honor that rules those who pilot these engines of destruction. Placing such an awesome weapon in the hands of an individual implies a similar gesture of trust
