If you are gonna do it TC, then why not enable player tickets?  Give each player 'lives'.  That could keep it interesting, and we wouldn't have to set up long matches just to make a TC match worth doing.

Player lives is something I have been arguing strongly for.

Huntress was the first server I ever played on. Even though I usually didn't play there, I was sad to see it go.

What no 1 life on players?

We are wanting TC respawn games with each player having a set amount of lives to deploy their droplist assets in each game. Trying to seize the feel of an epic battle rather than a one off skirmish.

I do not agree with TC option for PL, but ELH played few games in TOS with respawn\repair\rearm and 200k per person, it was pretty epic indeed. Replace 200k by droplist and here we go - pretty interesting game mode.

I understand basic idea behind TC, but there are too many issues (tanks inside bases, initial cap rush, cat&mouse with backcappers, dominant role of brawlers etc). Game itself my be objective based, not just team deathmatch, but i think TC not gonna work. Also we gonna loose a lot of maps this way.
I have an idea about some kind of dynamic drop objectives which can help with usual TDM problems like camping (including hangar camping lol), kiting with long range weapons  and other funkilling situation. I can make some kind of document and send you guys, if you are interested.

Oh it never hurt, I didn't actually play in the league at all.

It's just funny seeing you guys being so eager to play all the time and so infrequently being taken up on that offer.

It's like that one kid in class that can't figure out good touch/bad touch but still wants to be involved in all the group activities.

I welcome the input from those dedicated to enjoying competitive activity in the game, and ask that you have faith that we can come up with something different, and fun, that works towards the core aspects of MWLL that no other mechwarrior game has to offer at the moment. Yes, no respawn droplist games are great, but in all honesty, now, they're overplayed, and full of their own problems. It's time to try something different, and I predict great things for the near future.

Many of us  do not like TC in League.  No cap bases. I asked them.

I'll be honest, I never liked the no respawn TDM org games. It always devolved into who was more patient. 12thVR never did well because we would just rush in cause it was hella boring to wait all that time.  We occasionally field Long Toms to force the action but after the first shell would land the other team would rush us because they knew at close range we would be actually a man/asset down.

MWLL is really more designed for TC play with tickets.
