Leaving aside the fact that you'd probably be spending more than 3 days straight downloading the mod... I would assume rather not.

Some parts of the world use 42k, some use 26k, and some parts of the world have no internet at all... bad luck really. :-\

Among the world's top 30 countries, the US is only midfield. Seems like there are a few zones with excellent coverage and insane dl/ul rates, but all in all, it's not overly impressive. Pretty much as it is over here. Didn't expect our average rates to be higher though.

It's higher in any country that has a more dense population.  It costs a lot to string up highspeed to service boofoo here in the states, so don't take it too hard.

o.O hmm some how I got moved to a different thread.   Even with broadband our connection can still be slow at time as I live a long way from a major center so I have to get routed through a small ton of local ISP's before I even hit a major hub.

I have to be totally honest with you, the download for the project will be just under 2gigs. So that alone might be a bit much for a 56k.

Playing, however, shouldn't be a major issue though i can't promise optimal fidelity of course.
