I use a pretty standard mouse and keyboard setup, A/D for Turning, Mouse for Torso, W/S for Throttle, Mouse 1/3/2 for weapon groups 1/2/3
numbers 1/2/3 for weapon groups 4/5/6.  Z for reverse torso, Y for startup mech, R for override auto shutdown, F Flush coolant, space for zoom window, Q target under reticle, i think i covered all the essentials, all the ones you hardly use are just other keyboar keys like i think N is nightvision.  I hope MW:LL has a good default keyboard setup so most people will just use it.  and i dont really think ESDF is better than WASD at all, it basically just replces Tab, Capslock, and Shift with Q A Z.  Also i hope MW:LL will have suppourt for my 5 button mouse because MW4 actually doesnt recognise buttons 4&5

One hand on the joystick (logitech exteme 3d pro)and the other on the keyboard. I wouldn't dream of playing a mechwarrior sim with anything but a joystick.

Im looking forward to trying to use my steel battalion controller with this mod. Sadly it hasn't worked out so well with other games like IL-2 (joystick dosen't recenter making for wobbly flights) for those curios, it can be hooked to pc and there was drivers made for it called vtchid. or if anyone knows of better ones let me know :P .

I was also able to get it to work with Mechwarrior 3, pretty fun too! Just wish they supported more of the buttons and axis!

I know a mouse is more accurate, but there is nothing like the simulation feel I get from using a CH Products Combatstick, Pro Throttle, and Pro Pedals all in a HOTAS setup.  So, I definitely hope joysticks are supported in the mod.

DUDE!!  Landros and Myder, how did you get the Steel Batallion controller to work on the PC with MW3?  I've got steel batallion as well and think that would be super sweet to play a mechwarrior with it, not to mention the awesomeness that would ensue if it was able to be used on MWLL!  So give me the skinny on what to do to get it workin' on PC.

Can you adjust the deadzone?  That would definitely help with the centering issue.

You need an Xbox to USB adapter. You can find one at Walmart, Target, Radio Shack or online (I got mine online some years ago from Lik-Sang.com but they are gone now).

Then you need this driver: http://www.tamanegi.org/prog/vtchid/p/vtchid-0.2.1.zip

Tesla pod + MWLL anyone?

I am actually being serious, I am thinking of buying a pod.

I assume a complete ASSLOAD of work would be required to have this work.
Wouldn't I need to have the pod hooked into my pc instead of the Tesla Pod's macs to be able to run CryEngine2 too? (or something like that)

Oh dear.
Would be awesome though.

btw MWLL needs support for multiple (7) screens

I hope you guys do.  I've never piloted a mech with anything other than a joystick so without one I would be at a major disadvantage.
