We'll there goes some of my money. I actually didn't like and still don't like vanilla Civ5, but after all the expansions especially the last one that really overhauled trading and the civ trees, it's my go to world simulator.

horribly addictive like that innit?
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'

If you want something to scratch the itch, Pandora: First Contact comes out on the 30th. Basically, it's a new version of Alpha Centauri. I'm probably going to pick it up, but then again, I'm a 4x junkie.
I want to put a bullet between the eyes of every panda that won't screw to save it's species. I want to open the dump valves on oil tankers and smother all those French beaches I'll never see. I want to breathe smoke. I want to destroy something beautiful.

Hasn't Pandora been out for a while now? :o
Or is the 30th just the Steam release?

Anyway, if you expect that to be a good AC successor, you'll be disappointed, it's more like Sci-Fi Civ with very basic unit customization and "Barbarians" that remain passive until some invisible switch is flicked, but at point you usually have units that can deal with the aliens and you don't care in the slightest.

That's a pretty great deal. I would say "it's a must buy" if you like strategy games but haven't bought it yet

i'd have bought it, if i did not already havy everything but the twisted stuff on the bottom . .
and i am not willing to pay for the twisted stuff, which is something that should have been in the core game to begin with!
like historically accurate starting locations god damn it <.<
