News from the front:

The last campaign of turn 3 belongs to the Sarna Supremacy.

This faction has the fewest number of planets of the remaining factions at 2. There are 30 planets on the starmap. There are 4 possible planets to attack: From Menkib ,the faction could attack neutral worlds Shipka or Tsitsang. From Sarna they could attack the Capellan Partisans on Remshield or Footfall.

Most analysts doubt the faction will attack the Partisans while nearby neutral worlds are available. Reports are that defenses are being raised on Shipka and Tsitsang. The Cappelan Partisans refused to comment on any preparations their faction may be taking. The Partisans had already moved quickly to take two neutral worlds.

The Sarna Supremacy has shown it can succeed against the Partisans as they turned back the Partisan attack on Sarna earlier in the turn. However, rumors that the Partisans still have designs on the Sarnan capitol have not lessened fears on the planet.

As if things were not bad enough, the Saiph Triumivate, is closing in on another front near Sarnan space. Already holding 5 planets, the most of any faction, and having eliminated the Styx Commonality, this may actually be the bigger threat. Experts are already predicting the Sarna Supremacy will be eliminated. The Saiph Triumvirate is in range to attack Tsitsang or Shipka in turn 4. A successful attack could potentially  leave the Sarna Supremacy with only one planet before it starts the next turn.

Rumors are circulating that the Sarna commander has already chosen to attack neutral planet Tsitsang from Menkib. The faction would not respond to requests for comment on the matter. No matter which planet they attack, considering the 4 remaining factions in the Chaos March control at least 4 planets, the pressure is on for Sarna to quickly make gains in the sector if they wish to remain relveant in the March.

Footfall http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Foot_Fall

Remshield http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Remshield

The Chaos March will resume 18:00 or 6pm gmt (12pm cst) on Saturday November 1st

Meanwhile, the environment on Sarna is one of chaos. The Capellan Partisans have set their eye on Sarna once again. Their forces have begun amassing on Remshield. The Sarna Supremacy utilized the full resources of their attack fleet this past weekend in a failed attempt to capture the neutral world of Tsitsang. They are now facing attack from all sides. They have turned back the Capellans once. But any momentum gained from that victory has faded. Morale is reportedly low across the faction from the repeated failures to capture planets. Simply repelling attacks on their starting planets has been exhausting for the Sarnan military. Rumors persist of major conflict among the military leadership and politicians in the faction about the strategy moving forward. Reports from the ground suggest a divide among influential leaders about whether to aggressively moving to capture neutral worlds or to focus all efforts on defense of the capitol world. Analysts believe that the defeat of the Sarna Supremacy will create chaos in that region of the starmap. The Saiph Triumivrate and the Capellan Partisans already have a stranglehold on that area of space. Defeating the last opposing faction down there will accelerate their designs on moving against the Terracap Federation. The situation may already be decided. It might just a matter of time before only four factions remain the in the Chaos March. Play resumes Saturday.

Chaos March Week 13 has arrived! A special night edition of play occurs at 02:00 UTC. The news from the battlefront is not encouraging for the Sarna Supremacy. The Capellan Partisans are all but celebrating victory as they move closer to the capitol city of Sarna. The Partisans landed in a remote desert. It was not long after the Sarnans opened their defense of the planet. The attackers made a bold move by splitting their force in half. While the defenders holed up in an abandoned airfield the attackers flanked from the south. The defense force utilized a Warhammer A to snipe at the enemy. The Cougar F, Cougar D, and Puma D encountered the enemy outside the base gate. The commander of the defense was felled quickly while the remaining cougar and puma moved south to engage the enemy Vulture and Shadowcat. The Warhammer provided cover fire. While the defenders pushed the Vulture and Scat to the edge of destruction, the offensive proved doomed. The attackers regrouped and claimed the area. The attack proceeded quickly into the rolling hills of a major river outlet near the ocean separating the attackers from the capitol city. The attackers rolled out with a Thor, Scat A, Cougar, and Ares. The defenders countered with a Bushwacker Prime, Bushwacker C, Raven Prime, and Bushwacker B. The defenders rained down with their lrms while the attackers countered with jump sniping. The defenders moved in close to render the missile barrage useless. The scat shot down the bushwacker prime. The battle turned quickly as the defenders lost another mech and were down to a bushwacker and raven. The thor made quick work of these defenders to secure the Capellan victory. The Capellans did not let up as they crossed the ocean to land on the shores outside the captiol city. Victory seems all but assured unless something drastically changes. Morale is low and spirits are broken across the entire planet. The Capellans are concentrating the bulk of their remaining forces inside the city. They have sent an elite force to slow down the Partisans along the coast. Both sides now wait for the decisive battle to determine the fate of the Sarna Supremacy in the Chaos March. Both factions are calling for available mercenary pilots and groups participate in the conflict. Recruitment is handled on teamspeak at mwll.mwmaster.net in the Ready Room. The attack commences at 02:00 UTC Saturday.

Saiph Triumvirate Fleet Moves to Attack Terracap Confederation Space
Saiph Triumvirate Ambitions Grow

Updated: There are tips coming in  Elgin, a Terracap Confederation planet, that Saiph Triumvirate dropships have landed in the remote deserts of the world. We are working to get confirmation. But this would fit a pattern as the faction has utilized a strategy on other worlds of landing in underpopulated areas to catch defenders by surprise.  However, the rumored landing site is far detached from any major urban centers. The Triumvirate would have to fight through a desert and swamp climate to reach any strategic areas.Neither faction could be reached for comment.

Rumors are swirling that the long expected Saiph Triumvirate attack on Shipka will in fact not happen. Reports are that the  Saiph Triumvirates ambitions grow past
it's mission of conquering the Sarna Supremacy. Instead the Triumvirate fleet seems to have jumped north to near the Terracap Confederation. This faction has not seen an attack yet in the Chaos March.

Meanwhile, the Sarna Supremacy gains a minor victory as it can begin preparations for the final desperate attempt at survival. Holding only one planet, the outlook is grim for the faction. The loss of the capitol world has led to massive defections of pilots form the Sarna forces. Many are seeking refuge in mercenary units whose loyalty belongs solely to the highest bidder.

There are unconfirmed reports the Triumvirate is in a loose alliance with the Capellan Partisans. Experts point to this possible pairing as the reason the Triumvirate was comfortable leaving the system for the Partisans to handle the Sarnans. The Saiph Triumvirate would not comment specifically on the matter, but a spokesman offered, “The Saiph Triumvirate is in a state of war. All options are being considered on how to turn back the aggressors. We will not hesitate to utilize our full military might to defend our interests.”

The Terracap Confederation did not respond to our requests for comments. The Confederation holds four planets compared to the five held by the Triumvirate. Neither faction has yet moved past the equator of the starmap. But tensions have been rising for weeks. This clash between the factions was expected but the timing is what surprises most analysts.

Elgin is an important strategic world for the Confederation. Numerous factories exist that support their war machine. It has a large agricultural industry that supplies their fleet near the border with the Triumvirate. The area had recently started to serve as a staging area for the Confederation military. Rumors have persisted for weeks that they were preparing a move into the southern sectors of the starmap. But the exact location of the Confederation fleet is currently unknown.

An attack on the Confederation would leave the Duchy of Small as the only faction not to be attacked yet in the fourteen week conflict. The battle rages on as all five remaining factions seek to control the starmap. Pilots are in demand from all sides. Recruits are asked to show up at the Ready Room on teamspeak server mwll.mwmaster.net. The next hours of operation are 02:00-0:600 UTC and then 20:00-0:00 UTC Saturday November 22.
