Downloaded the MechWarrior Quadrology Pack (sic)
« on: September 19, 2014, 03:15:48 PM »
So I downloaded the MechWarrior Quadrology (sic) English/Russian dual pack from pirate bay and what do I find, but a MWLL MK II on the autorun menu.

See who is playing MWLL right now, without having to start the game: http://stats.spikx.net/mwll.html

I still wish they'd propperly remake MW3/Pirates Moon and MW2: Mercenaries ._.
And no, MW4 Mercs does not count <.<

MW4 (Including BK Mercs) had a god-tier campaign, don't deny that.

And balance was way more off in 2 and 3 than in MW4.

In my eyes, the campaign was the ONLY good thing about the MW4 parts . .

MW4 is a good arcade game.
That's why it has nothing to do with MechWarrior games

This.

Did you guys ever play multis other than 4?
Never played 2 multi, but if I could create builds which destroyed things in seconds without heat problems I can imagine how it was online
3 was basically lagshieldscats with medlasers; the game
4 was ERLL everywhere and PPC Gauss with the Gladiator(Mercs)

tldr all of them had flaws. So we're only left with the campaigns/single, which all were good. Honestly though I disliked Pirates moon, but it's been too long since I played it. Might give it an another shot.

C6/UA/ICE for Life, yo.

Those codes take me back :D My first experiences of online gaming on a 56k. I have persistent memories of lying face down most of the time in NH-UA games full of multi uac20 builds. I also remember making a supernova with qaud gauss rifles then getting pecked to bits by a Strider with machine guns cos my torso twisted too slow to hit him!

Avatars with 3UAC20 on Ice City. Man. I think this map alone wore down my G-Key.

What function did you have on your G-key?
I always (ALWAYS!!) used custom keybinds, so...

In soviet clanspace, trinary bids you.

Does the pack come with patches for 3 so it runs properly on Win7 with modern hardware?
Last time I tried to play it, enemy vehicles just bounced around the place like crazy >_>

I have the odd pixel patch(1024x768) or such. As far as bouncing apc's and mechs and graphics tearing, thats all in the hardware and you must do trial and error to find what works for you. I have found that making the gpu work as hard as possible to render mw3 tends to cure the bouncing objects. The graphical tearing is another matter, it has been a long time since I have even tried to play any game let alone mw3, When I did have it running it was smooth and bug free on the rig in my sig.
