Spring Engine: Mechcommander Legacy
« on: July 12, 2015, 09:34:00 PM »
This might be of interest for those who liked Mechcommander and RT-Tactics. This is a rather new concept compared to another older concept on the Spring engine (Made for Total Annihilation in 3D, but expanded to very many other Lores)
The old one was abandoned, I played a bit with it and was sad when it ended. This here takes things on a bit differently but highly interesting.

Check it out.

Should I ever be listed at the top of my team, then we have a serious problem.

looks promising to me at least.
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'

There was a version before with much better Graphics, I might even have some screenshots of it, but this one here seems to have more sophisticated Mechanics with Heat, Electronics, Droppers and so on. The other was rather usual with base building and stuff. :) But it looked nice too. :) (Nicer than this by now sans Dropships, though.) But I hope that they continue this one for sure.

You might check out some Spring games, other Variants have almost always some Mechas at least in higher Tech Levels. (Balanced Annihilation, Tech Annihilation, etc. There is even a Star Wars thingy.)

Anyway, lets see what they do, right?
