light AC shake
« on: November 08, 2016, 11:42:45 PM »
currently the lighter autocannons dont shake targets they hit
im okay with any kind of significant shake being caused only by the heavier ACs (because hey, projectiles are not that heavy), but can the lighter ACs get a very slight shake, if only for the feel?

(also i noticed a (bug?) where machine guns have a BARELY noticeable shake on vehicles - i was thinking something of that magnitude for AC2's for example)

It's my understanding that screen shake requires you to do rocket code. AC10 and AC20 use rocket code, as do PPCs. But AC5 and AC2 use bullet code. I think bullet code is more reliable and that the original dev team chose to use bullet code for AC5 and AC2 because screen shake would be so little and increased reliability was a good trade off.
